There are seemingly endless sites devoted to breastfeeding on the internet – it can be hard to choose. We’ve tried to narrow it down to our favorites here! Several of the sites below run message boards where you can communicate with other nursing moms and sometimes even lactation consultants as well.

For breastfeeding questions on pretty much any topic imaginable, kellymom.com is usually the best place to start. Kelly’s site answers hundreds of common (and uncommon) breastfeeding questions, all presented on a very easy-to-navigate site.
Widely regarded as the foremost authority on breastfeeding in the world,
La Leche League International has a very comprehensive site on breastfeeding.
They have a especially comprehensive section on breastfeeding
and US law.
To find a lactation consultant in your area, please visit the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA), where you can find an International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) near you by using their “Find A Lactation Consultant" link on the right-hand sidebar of their homepage.
